He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonah Braston and Lula Cobb Edwards; his wife Connie Edwards; his grandson Adam Murphy; and his brother Russell Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Tyler (Donald) of Clinton, Amy Murphy (Jerry) of Newton Grove and Jerome Edwards (Renee) of Newton Grove; his grandchildren, Anthony, Lea Ann, Brennon, Jesse and Justin; his great grandchildren, Emily, Raegan, Anna, Nathan and Molly; and his siblings, Shelby Jean Johnson, Cherry Earlene Vann, Nannie Westbrook, Bonnie Giddens, M. B. Edwards and Layton Edwards.
