Mike Horne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mike Horne of Newport, North Carolina, born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mike shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mike farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Horne and Lois Horne; his sister Ann Maiolo (Jerry) of Morehead City, NC; and his nephew Travis Seymour of London, England.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557).
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Carteret County Humane Society.
