With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lila Jean Braswell Hensley (Newland, North Carolina), born in Banner Elk, North Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Braswell Jr. and Maxine Tolley Braswell; and her sister Linda Gail Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristen Dee Hensley of Franklinton and Beth Hensley Masters (Jim) of Newland; and her caregiver Anita Willis. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and husband.
