She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Deaton and Ruby Pritchard; her husband Bill; her son Randy; and her brothers, Bruce and Frank Deaton.
She is survived by: her daughter Vickie Boone (Charles) of Spruce Pine, NC; her grandchildren, Christy Peterson (Greg) of Winston Salem, NC, Cameron (Natasha) of Greeneville, Tenn and Tyler (Jody); her great grandchild Connor Peterson of Winston Salem, NC; her sisters, Suzy McLean of Marion, NC and Jean Davis (Lee) of Lenoir, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Darlene Kerns (Bryce) of Unicoi, TN, Mildred Hollifield of Tallahassee, Fla and Betty Hollifield of Crawfordville, Fla. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
