He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stewart Jones and Mae Hopson Jones; and his son Scott Jones. He is survived by: his wife Carol Norvell Jones; his son Bryon Jones; his stepsons, Kevin Freeman and Jeremy McClanahan; and his siblings, Maebelle Nuse (Ted) of Florida, Deloris Sellers of Pennsylvania, Claude Jones (Marie) of Florida, Gary Jones of Pennsylvania and Kenneth Jones (Lori) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
