He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Durwood Hatch and Daisy Phillips Hatch; his children, Dominic James, Deidre James of Roseboro and Christopher Hatch (Angela) of Goldsboro; his sisters, Maebelle Carlton (William) of Kenansville and Annie Ruth Strong; his close friend Denise James; and his siblings, Mary Miller, Durwood Hatcher Jr., Mildred Johnson and Mary Louise Hatch. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
