He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martha Ann Blount Miller and Preston Miller; his wife Andrea Lassiter Miller; his children, James Stephone Miller (Christie) and Raven Miller of Durham; his brothers, LaVaughn Williams (Phyllis) of Queens, NY, Daniel "Pete" Miller of Warsaw and Kelvin Miller of Kinston; his aunts, Nannie M. Barfield of Mt, Eva Miller of Magnolia and Mildred Miller of Kinston; and his sister Sidney Denise Miller. He was also cherished by cousins, other relatives and friends.
