He was predeceased by: his grandfather Harvey S.. He is survived by: his fiancée Sarah Smith; his children, Harvey Eugene Jernigan and Shelby Plummer of Winston-Salem; his stepchildren, Aubrey Moyers and Alannah Moyers; his parents, Debbie Lynn Holmes Howard (Tim Howard) of Grantham and Gary W. Jernigan of Dudley; his sister Melonie Jernigan Dillard (Matthew Grady) of Grantham; his nieces, Riley Jernigan and Kaylee Dillard; and his grandparents, Peggy Lane Jernigan, Willard "Buddy" Holmes and Linda Price Holmes. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
