He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Allen and Thelma Barwick Allen; his son Craig Allen; his siblings, Kenneth Allen and Margaret Parrott; his brother-in-law Ronald Sumrell; and his parents-in-law, Robert Sumrell and Lillian Monroe Sumrell.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Sumrell Allen; his daughter Christy Allen of Faison, NC.; and his siblings-in-law, Reid Parrott of Greenville, NC and Dottie Allen of Kinston, NC.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
