He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean London. He is survived by: his mother Henrietta Nicholson; his children, Lavern Raynor, Ernest "Pop" Raynor of Mt. Olive, Patricia Miller (Ivey) and Mary Herring (Larry) of Pikeville; and his siblings, Ernestine Nicholson, Annie Nicholson of Philadelphia, PA, Easter Nicholson Smith of Delaware and Jimmy Nicholson of South Carolina. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.
