He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Haseltine "Hassie" Swift McDonald; his wife Daisy "Dee" Bryan Stentz; his children, David S. "Trip" Stentz III (Billi) of Shannon, William Bryan Stentz (Christy) of Rockingham, Charlotte Killian Stentz of Mount Olive and Elizabeth "Buffy" S. Sargent (Lee) of Seven Springs; his grandchildren, Aaron, Alexis, Katlyn, David IV, Erica, Jeremy, Sarah Beth and Pete; his great grandchildren, Maylee and Emma; his brother Gregory McDonald (Ruth) of Waynesville; and his sister-in-law Labinda Bryan. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial gifts be made to Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, PO Box 158, Mount Olive, NC 28365, or to Cancer Research, specifically for skin cancer or sarcoma, both diseases which have affected this family.
