She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Parsons and Faye Byrd Parsons; and her husband Ray McLendon. She is survived by: her sons, Robert "Chunk" McLendon (Linda) of Mt. Gilead and Bobby McLendon (Jan) of Mt. Gilead; and her grandsons, Dan McLendon of Mt. Gilead, David McLendon (Nancy) of Mt. Gilead, Gary McLendon (Nikki) of Mt. Gilead and Kevin McLendon (Jessica) of Candor. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
