It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Ray Hilton of Mount Gilead, North Carolina, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Bobby departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bobby. Though Bobby may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis James Hilton, Sr. and Willie Mae Morgan Hilton; his wife Molly Johnson; and his brothers, Lewis James Hilton, Jr. and Fred Dixon Hilton.
He is survived by: his cousin Danny Hilton (Janet) of Salisbury; and his close friends, David and Kay Poole.
