He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Leonard; his son Stephen; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Leonard of Hickory, Darrin Leonard of Hickory, Jeremiah Leonard (Amanda) of Morganton, Matthew Leonard of Lenoir, Terry Leonard, Jr., Jessica Buzze (Dustin) of Morganton and Evelyn Church (Jeremy) of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
