She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Massey and Edna Brown Barton; her husband George Clarke; and her brother Robert Barton. She is survived by: her son Tique Clarke of Durham, NC; her grandchildren, Melanie Collins of Cary, NC, Leia Clarke of Raleigh, NC and David Neal of Durham, NC; her great grandchild RasElijah Clarke-Davis of Raleigh, NC; her godson Jeff Daye of Durham, NC; and her sister Linda Kay Shoemake of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
