We bid farewell to Rickey Allen Bentley of Morganton, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 12, 2024 at the age of 65. Rickey Allen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parent Dale Lloyd Bentley; his brother Ronnie Eugene Bentley; and his grandparents, Philmore, Nancy Bentley, Turner Hendrix and Ruby Triplett.
He is survived by: his mother Susie Hendrix Bentley; his significant other Carolena Turner; his siblings, Larry Bentley (Jena), Brian Bentley (Jessie), Sandra Clark (David), Donna Gilbert (Randy) and Melissa Hodges (Mark); his nieces and nephews, Jason Clark, Shanna Clark, Josh Bentley, Eric Gilbert, Jonathan Hamby, Austin Bentley, Lauren Bentley, Marissa East, Taylor Sherrill and Cameron Hodges; and his pets, Bella and Boots. He is also survived by ten great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to the North Carolina School for the Deaf in care of the Athletics Department, 517 W Fleming Drive, Morganton, NC 28655.
