We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2021, at the age of 94, Louise High Whitener of Morganton, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph A. High, Sr. and Ora Clanton High; her husband Earl C. Whitener; and her siblings, James High, Willie Pollard, Carroll High and Ralph A. High, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda W. Durst (Dale) and Frances Whitener; her grandsons, Matthew and Stephen Durst; and her sister Katherine H. Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church.
