We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Janet Laurie Ollis of Morganton, North Carolina, born in Bristol, Rhode Island. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Janet Laurie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janet Laurie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Todd; her spouse Jerry H. Ollis; her children, Pete McKeon, III (Stephanie) of Murphy, Terri Ann Stroup (Dan Stroup) of Murphy, Kenny McKeon (Lee) of Murphy and Brett McKeon (Elizabeth) of Hiwassee, Georgia; and her family Jan. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In March 2020, the Covid Pandemic hit, and she retired.
