It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Clark Cantrell of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Vernon Cantrell and Nellie Sue Fowler Cantrell; and his siblings, Julia Cantrell Brooks, Jack Edgar Cantrell, Vera Cantrell Brigman, Sue Cantrell Jamison, Johnny Cantrell, Raymond Cantrell Sr. Each and Sarah Owensby of Marion.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Stough Cantrell; his daughter Lisa English (Ronald) of Marion; his granddaughter Amber Jenkins (David); his great grandchildren, Grayson, Jaxson, Emma and Ava; and his sister-in-law Pat Cantrell of Bakersville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
