She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Cornett and Ruth Jones Ritch; and her siblings, Cecil Cornett, Bill Cornett, Joe Cornett and Carolyn Brotherton.

She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Carpenter (Steve) of Granite Falls, Linda Cannon of Granite Falls and Gary Cornett of Lenoir.
