It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dallas Ramsey Powell of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Dallas Ramsey shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Junior Powell; her parents, Carmen Monroe Ramsey and Ola Mae White Ramsey; and her son Ronnie Powell. She is survived by: her children, Tim Powell of Glen Alpine, Angela Price of Cherryville, Lisa Powell of Morganton and Christina Walker of Morganton; and her siblings, Jennie Mae Smith of Sunshine, Glenda Cook of Casar, Monroe Ramsey of Sunshine and Gilbert Ramsey of Rutherfordton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
