He is survived by: his wife Donna Gillikin; his son William "Billy" Gillikin of Otway; his granddaughter Cealest Gillikin of Otway; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Gillikin of South Carolina, Martha Ann Willis of Harkers Island, Belma Rose of Harkers Island and Nancy Fay Willis of Harkers Island. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
