He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet Adelbert Shank and Doris Paige Shank; and his son Peter James Shank (Rebecca Shank). He is survived by: his children, Missy Rolewicz (Dennis) of Newark, Linda Osborne (Clark) of Coxs Creek, Kentucky, Bill Shank (Lynn) of Miller, Paul Shank (Heidi) of Vandalia and Joseph Shank (Valerie) of Fremont, Indiana.; his stepson Steve Miller (Angie) of Moncure, NC; and his sisters, Jackie Budd of Hillsdale and Jerrie West of Sturgis. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
