He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; and his siblings, John, Dorothy, Helen, Ruth and Margaret.

He is survived by: his parents, William Sharpe and Lillian Sharpe; and his son Paul of Mills River. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
