It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma (Locklear) Harris of Maxton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Locklear and Susie Locklear; her husband Lowell Harris; and her brothers, Joseph, Charles, Howard and Bruce.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Bullard (Harvey), Denise Locklear and Mitchell Harris (Claire); her grandchildren, Kendrick Lee, Todd Elliot, John Quinlin, Elizabeth "Liz" Carrington, Jordan Tyler and Joel Patrick; her great grandchildren, Kiethen Lecota, Kendra Lynn, Zaiden Lowell and Ivey Rose; her siblings, Helen Locklear and Bobby Locklear; her brothers-in-law, Kenneth and Frank; and her close friend Flossie Eddings. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
