He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Nivison Thompson and Marshall Alexander Thompson, Sr.; his son Christopher S. Thompson; and his sister Mary Lewis Miller. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Chambers Thompson; his children, Lori Thompson Walker and Jonathan Brian Thompson; his grandchildren, Lauren Trondsen, Lindsay Harroff, Braiden Walker and Carson Walker; and his siblings, Anne Morrison and Robert L. Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.
