He was predeceased by: his mother Millicent Midgett Sawyer; and his wife Linda Mann Sawyer. He is survived by: his sons, Barry Sawyer (Bonny), Scott Sawyer and Stan Sawyer (Maggie); and his siblings, John Sawyer of Darien, GA and Patricia Todd of Richmond Hill, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
