He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann Daniels Pledger and Charlie Henry Pledger, Sr. of Manteo, NC.. He is survived by: his children, Veronica Brickhouse of Manteo, NC and Otis McMurran; and his grandchildren, Idasia Brickhouse, J'daiha Brickhouse, Dominique Nelson, Veronica McMurran, Jasmine Baum, Kaleb Diaz, Darias McMurran and Draven Fisher. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
