It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorris Alford Fry (Manteo, North Carolina), who passed away on February 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. Alford (Shiek) and Cora Mae Basnight; her son Wayland Hannon Fry (Lisa) of Manteo; her siblings, EJ Alford (Jean), Sarah Owens, Marc Basnight (Sandy) and Della Basnight; and her niece Lisa Owens Hooper.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sally Scarborough (Phil) and Saint Basnight (Bea); her brother-in-law Bobby Owens; her daughter Claudia Harrington of Manteo; and her grandchildren, Colby Fry, Josie Fry, Barron Sluder (Hanna) and Bodan Harrington. She is also survived by four great-grandsons; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
