He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivadean Twiford Wescott and William G. Wescott. He is survived by: his children, Debra D. Wescott (J. D.) of Kitty Hawk, Tamara L. Wescott (Mark) of Manteo and David Jennings Wescott (Crystal) of Hampton; and his brothers, William J. Wescott (Gwen) of Camden and Robert G. Wescott (Fanny) of Gloucester. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
