With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Jean Paschal of Manteo, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irma Woods Paschal and Dennis R. Paschal, Sr.; her husband Palmer Lewis; and her grandsons, Dylan Hughes and James Beasley Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Tracey Hughes and Shawn Hughes; her brothers, Dennis Paschal, Jr. (Kay) and Wayne Paschal (Kathy); and the father of her children Larry Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org).
