He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter John Roberson and Letha Mae Seymore Roberson; his wife Bernice Thomas Roberson; his children, Patty Adams and Carl E. Roberson, Jr.; and his siblings, Mabel, Ruth, John and Pete.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Roberson Miller of Aulander and Ann Roberson Turnbill of Raleigh; his son-in-law Steve Adams of Chesapeake, VA; his grandsons, Robbie Rhodes (LeAnne), Ryan Miller (Ashley) and Alden Turnbill; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Conner Rhodes, Reed and Sawyer Miller.
