He was predeceased by: his parents, Elver L Mead, Sr. and Pearl Countryman Mead; his brother Elver L Mead, Jr.; and his wife Diane Elizabeth Green Mead. He is survived by: his children, James Patrick Mead, Sr. (Mel Blalock) of Accord and Christine Winne (Randy Winne) of Kerhonkson; his grandchildren, Frankie, James Patrick, Jr., Toni Michelle, Darian Elizabeth, Brandon Kenneth and Sydnie Marie; his brothers, John Mead of Manson, David Mead of Kingston and Steven Mead of Tilson; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Mead. He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
