She was predeceased by: her father George "G. W."; and her husband Jarvis Glenn Ward. She is survived by: her children, Elaine Richard (Bill) of Maiden, Janice Davis (Christy) of Maiden and Wayne Ward (Donna) of Newton; her grandchildren, Tefany Major, Gwendolyn Jones, Keista Bass, Sheena Lowe and Raider Ward; her sisters, Georgia Teague (Larry) of Newton and Rosie Huffman of Catawba; her sisters-in-law, Mabel Ward of Maiden and Mildred Caldwell (Ronnie) of Newton; and her close friend Clifford Wilson of Maiden.
