She is survived by: her children, Ida Workman Leatherman, Rachel Beal Hefner of Maiden, Sheila Beal Bias of Valdese, Sharon Beal Buckner of Statesville and Elvis R. Beal of Maiden. She is also survived by 52 grandchildren, and 54 great grandchildren.
