She was predeceased by: her parents, John Eldridge and Pearl Bell Boyd Thornton; her husband Harold Reese Biggerstaff; her son John Andrew Biggerstaff; and her siblings, Boyd H. Thornton, Edith Thornton Coulter, Helen Thornton Williams and Hazel Thornton Perkins.
She is survived by: her son Steven Harold Biggerstaff (Ginger); her sister Irene Thornton Hinson; her grandchildren, Brandon Biggerstaff (Janie Crain) of Hickory, Kristina Biggerstaff (Josh Hentschel) of Maiden, Dylan Biggerstaff of Hickory and Davis Biggerstaff of Hickory; her great grandchildren, Lexis Crain of Hickory, Liam Biggerstaff of Hickory and Weston Biggerstaff of Hickory; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Biggerstaff of Maiden. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
