It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Keever Goodson (Maiden, North Carolina), who passed away on February 26, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Keever and Myrtle McGee Keever; and her brother Fred Keever. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Goodson; her children, Dale Goodson (Susan) of Maiden, Sam Goodson (LaDonna) of Maiden, Keith Goodson (Carla) of Maiden and Linda Hawn (Kenneth) of Maiden; her grandchildren, Jason Goodson, Leigh Morrison, Aaron Goodson, Matthew Hawn, Mitchell Hawn and Micah Hawn; and her sisters, Audrey Whitener of Lincolnton, Leslie Frye of Maiden, Faye Midgett of Maiden, Jeanette Starnes of Hickory and Mary Jo Williams of Maiden. She is also survived by 13 Great-Grandchildren.
