He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar "Ned" Leroy Goodson and Rachel Rosanna Grigg Goodson; his wife Maxine Keever Goodson; and his siblings, Marshall, Gaither, Clayton, Blair, Crawford, Howard Goodson, Bessie Barker, Lorene Propst and Grace Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Goodson (Susan) of Maiden, Sam Goodson (LaDonna) of Maiden, Keith Goodson (Carla) of Maiden and Linda Hawn (Kenneth) of Maiden; his grandchildren, Jason Goodson, Leigh Morrison, Aaron Goodson, Matthew Hawn, Mitchell Hawn and Micah Hawn; his sister Emma Lynch of Maiden; and his sister-in-law Gay Goodson of Maiden. He is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren.
