He is survived by: his children, Christopher Helms, Steven Helms of Iron Station and Angela Craig (Chris) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Caitlin Headrick (Dustin), Cassie Craig, Andrew Helms and Abby Helms; and his great grandchild Ezekiel Headrick.
