He was predeceased by: his father Walter Thurman Landers; his wife Marie Elizabeth Cruse; and his brother Billy Landers. He is survived by: his children, James "JT" Landers II (Debbie) of Hildebran and Michelle Landers of Newton; his siblings, Robert "Bob" Landers, Thomas "Tommy" Landers of Atlanta, GA and Mary Huffman of Newton; his grandchildren, Brittany Landers, Katelyn Landers, Zackery "Zack" Landers and Brandon Parrish (Ramsee); and his great grandchildren, Landon Keller and Zachary Parrish (Beverly Foltynowicz) of Conover.
