She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Forest Gales Hamrick and Ola Thompson Hamrick of Shelby; her siblings, Melvin Hamrick, Ruby Grigg, Gladys Wellmon, Pat Jenkins and JoNan Ivey; her husband Ralph Watts of Conover; her daughter Sundy; her son-in-law Jim Swanson of Maiden; her daughter Tracey Cline of Morganton; her sister Marie King; her grandchildren, Mark, Melissa Swanson, Heather Faye Swanson, Taylor Brown, Tatianna Cline, Austin Bruhn, Hailey Cline and MawMaw; her great grandchildren, Brandon Grindstaff, Macy Lee, Blake Grindstaff, Kaytlin Hall, Smith Swanson and Peyton Brown; and her nieces and nephews, Sandy (Butch Parrish), Craig Grigg, Patricia, Russell Browning, Becky (Don Beam) and Earl (Brenda Wellmon).
The family has asked in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Faye Watts.
