He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Evans Shipp; his siblings, Thomas Shipp (Jackie) of Hayward, Lewis Shipp (Lisa) of Morganton, NC., Loretta "Candy" Shipp, Sallie "Cookie" Shipp of Lincolnton, NC. and Ann Edwards of Greensboro, NC.; his aunt Carol Mundy of Washington, DC.; and his sisters-in-law, Maggie Evans, Alberta Hall of Lincolnton, NC and Carolyn Evans of Richmond, Virginia.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
