With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwight Wesley Beard of Maiden, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2020 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zell Wesley and Mildred Schronce Beard; and his former wife Kay Dellinger Beard. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Beard; his daughters, Amanda Kain (Greg) of Maiden and Tonya Moss (Garrett) of Maiden; his stepson Scott Schronce (Rebecca) of Terrell; his grandsons, Spencer, Max Kain, Sawyer, Seth Moss and Logan Schronce; and his sisters, JoAnn Bolick of Newton and Sheila Allison of Tennessee.
