He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mitchell and Mildred Moore Mitchell; and his former wife Shirley Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Kim Ardrey (Tye) of Maiden, NC, Lori Herman (Finley) of Maiden, NC, Michele Hughes (Damon) of Lenoir City, TN and Donnie Mitchell (Sidnee) of Murfreesboro, TN; his brother Robert Mitchell (Sandra) of Dallas, GA; and his wife Linda Morgan. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
