It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Loy Mauney of Maiden, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Daniel Mauney Jr. and Helen Huitt Mauney of Newton. He is survived by: his wife Abby Laney Mauney; his son Chris Mauney (Kristen); his siblings, Gary Mauney (Patty) and Cindy Farmer of Newton; his grandchildren, Carter and Lilly; and his parents-in-law, Harold and Martha Laney of Maiden.
