He is survived by: his daughter Ri'Chea Bess of Atlanta; his siblings, William Ashe (Palastine) of Jacksonville Arkansas, Carolyn Brown of Lincolnton, N. C. and Phyllis Coulter (Robert) of Hickory, N. C.; his aunt Ruth Pearson; and his great-aunt Ester Mae Ramseur. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
