He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Arndt and Margaret Kathleen Thronburg Arndt; his sister Francis (Marvin); and his children, Karen, Kathy and David Arndt.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bost Arndt; and his children, Cindy Hand (Danny), Brian (Becky), Bruce (Sandra) and Rena Kay. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of Allen's late daughter, Kathy, who suffered from MS.
