He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Lawrence; his parents, Sam Willard Lawrence, Sr. and Irene Vernon Lawrence; and his sister Cenobia Thorp. He is survived by: his son Kyle Lawrence (Tara); his sister Patsy L. Rumley; his granddaughter Kathryn Lawrence; his brother-in-law Mylon Hilton (Michelle); his nephews, Michael Thompson, Sr. (Beverly), Alan Thompson (Susan), Joe Joyce and Mason Hilton; and his niece Madelyn Hilton.
