It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Ann Taylor of Lumberton, North Carolina, born in Conneaut, Ohio, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David A. Fisher, Sr. and Georgiana Fisher; her brother David A. Fisher, Jr.; and her husband James Taylor. She is survived by: her brother Richard A. Fisher (Lee) of Fairmont; her children, Susan Amanda Mauney (Darrell "Tinker" Wayne Anders) and Samuel Andrew Mauney of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Janie, Lilian, Silas and Ellarie; her great grandchild Kaydence; her nephew Michael; and her nieces, Angie and Gail.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at the Floyd Memory Gardens (3720 Old Whiteville Rd, Lumberton, NC 28358).
