It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Wardell Vaughan of Louisburg, North Carolina, who passed away on June 20, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy, Sr. Vaughan and Dora Shearin Vaughan; and his siblings, T. W. Vaughan, Jr. and Lucille Vaughan Mayberry. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Robertson Vaughan; his stepsons, Raymond Lilley and Robert Lilley; his grandchildren, Branden Lilley (Tiffany) and Dakota Lilley; his great grandchild Owen Lilley; and his siblings, Willard Vaughan (Sherry), Peggy Wallace (Lawrence), Linda Jordan and Sheila Vaughan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
